Will A Friends Movie Be In The Making

The movie Sex and the City, which stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall, has earned more than $300m to date with its worldwide premiere since its opening in May. Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are reportedly excited to turn hit TV show "Friends" into a motion picture after seeing the box office attraction of 'Sex and the City: The Movie'. Friends came to a close in 2004 after a 10-year run. Reportedly rumors of a coming together again have repeatedly been refused by former cast of characters Cox, Aniston, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow. Today it seems the superstars may be prepared to come back to Central Park to cash in on the situation comedies popularity watching the success of 'Sex and the City', which was released from a TV series into a big-screen movie earlier this year. Reportedly it is being said that "Jennifer, Courteney and the rest of the cast are anxious to repeat their characters, under the right conditions. "The box office winner "Sex and the City" has truly got their wheels whirling about how a 'Friends' motion picture could be just as great, if performed correctly. "Jennifer says she and Courteney have already spoke this summer on what they want out of a 'Friends' film." The word arrives just one month after it was disclosed Cox's disputable TV drama 'Dirt' was scrubbed by network honchos at FX after just two seasons.
