It appears that the executive producer of How I Met Your Mother was very happy with the guest appearance of Britney Spears especially when the ratings shot way up. Britney Spears appeared on that show as a silly receptionist in the March 24 episode. Carter Bays said he thought she did an outstanding performance on that episode and he has welcomed her to do another guest appearance if she would like.
