Katherine Heigl Angered Fellow Staff On Grey's Anatomy

Katherine Heigl has angered her fellow staff on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" after she removed her name from the Emmy Awards in the context of a dissent about her character growth on the hit show. The actress took a firm stand that her name be omitted from the official vote because she felt her role in the show was awful during the last season of the medical drama. But the move created unhappy workers in the program. A source tells an entertainment media source, "The show went out of its way to meet the demands of her film schedule, and she has knocked the show for the lack of material? "It is an unthankful slap in the face of the very writers responsible for her Emmy win in the first place." Heigl won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Emmys last year. She has since established herself as a movie star with roles in "Knocked Up" and "27 Dresses."
