Actress Heather Locklear is receiving mental health intervention for anxiety and depression. She checked into a facility in Arizona, her spokesperson affirmed. It comes after Heather’s doctor called emergency services in March claiming he dreaded she was suicidal. A spokesperson for the 46-year-old told People magazine: "Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression.""She requested a thorough evaluation of her medication and went into a medical treatment center for proper diagnosis and treatment. "This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be relinquished." The one time Dynasty star started taking medication after she petitioned for a divorce from rocker Richie Sambora in February 2006, according to a celebrity magazine. Locklear and Sambora have a ten-year-old daughter, Ava, together. After filming the Lifetime film Flirting With 40 in the spring, Locklear made up her mind to head to an in-patient treatment center. "She wanted to feel better and get to the bottom of what was bothering her," a longtime companion said. "She's had a rough year." Sambora began dating Locklear's former friend actress Denise Richards shortly after the marriage ended. He and Richards terminated their relationship last year.
