The adolescent actress has been at the center of fevered supposition in late months as cyberspace accounts lay claim she accepted an offered role opposite Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson in the motion picture. And immediately motion picture honchos have substantiated the news to a celebrity magazine. Fanning will play the role of Jane, a member of the Italian Volturi vampires in the sequel. Filming on New Moon is scheduled to begin this spring.
